What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome package and extreme value for money Bought one in March for $835 at JB hifi..... I shopped around for days and looked at a lot of Tvs and LG always came up the best in quality and value for money. This TV is just perfect. I love the bluetooth so I can control youtube etc with my phone.... Goes nicely with my other state of the art LG products. I can't fault it..............

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome design @ great price For $1300 cash at JB HIFI i couldn't say no. They didnt have any 55LM6410's left, and was offered this instead. The frameless design, passive 3D technology and DLNA certification won me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV Got the TV from The Good Guys at a great price for mounting on the wall. Best decision we have made. Looks great on the wall because of the very small frame around the edge. The picture quality is the best we have ever had, and are looking forward to trying all the smart features.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent hardware let down by mediocre user interface Honestly blown away by the picture quality and the clarity and comfort of the 3D. As a TV, this unit is excellent. However, I find the "smart" features lacking. The magic remote is awkward to use - a common problem is accidentally scrolling through channels when trying to press the action button or re-orienting the pointer for comfort only to have the menu you're trying to use disappear. The UX is inconsistent, some apps work with the scroll wheel, some don't. YouTube is very unpleasant to use with no keyboard support and unintuitive behaviours when compared to other well-known youtube apps (i.e. it's nothing like your smart phone). The magic remote needs tweaking from an industrial-design perspective - it's not quite there, but otherwise the hardware is there. In short, the hardware is awesome. The software; they have some great ideas, absolutely they do, but the whole thing feels a bit rushed-out and haphazard. Maybe they should concentrate on improving the user experience now. My advice, definately get one of these, but perhaps get one without the Magic Remote - use the iPhone app remote instead, it's streets ahead!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great picture quality and menu systems 55LM6700 absolutly love it!!!, awesome picture quality especially on 3d bluray, menu systems are really well setup, and for the guy below complaining about tv guide not updating itself that is the same on every tv on the market just use the tv guide lg app instead or log on to tv guide sites with your smart TV. so many features and fantastic apps available. Love it LG thanks

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed!! I bought a Smart TV that is not that Smart. The TV guide will not work until after you access the channel/network. If you turn the TV off all the data is lost and you have to start again. There is no way to see what is on. Spoke to the call center man and was advised nothing can be done - I was advised to do my homework better - should have asked he said. This is supposed to be a smart TV. Lots of features that we will never use, I would have thought a working TV guide would have been fundamental. When you use the remote in the store all appears normal. I am going back to the store and see if the sales people will own up to this failure, also going to check the online manual, LG don't supply a paper version.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fuzzy Logic all i can fault is the in-built file browser. needs major work to become a lot more useful. anyone who has used XBMC or win media centre will find it a drudgery of the soul. apart from that I am extremely satisfied. beats the pants off my last tv (kogan) in a huge way. the only reason it isn't receiving 5 stars is the browser
