Transportation Test Low Pressure - Procedure II Device withstands operation for four hours from 0.61atm.
  Vibration - Category 4 Device withstands placement on a vibration fixture being tested in three ways for one hour each (vertical, transverse, longitudinal) for a total of 3 hours.
  Shock Transit Drop - Procedure IV Device withstands being dropped ten times from height of 122cm.
Water and Dust Test Sand and Dust - Procedure I Air velocity 8.9±1.3m/s Dust concentration 10.6±7g/m3. Each side, total of 6 sides (front, back, top, bottom, right, left) one hour testing. High temperature (43˚C) gets added on to each from 6 different sides for 1 Hr.
  Immersion - Procedure I Device withstands being immersed in 1m of water for 30 minutes

IP Rating: Water and Dust Resistance

The LG G6 is ready to go just about anywhere one would want to go. Thanks to its IP68 rating, it can weather dust and water — including full immersion — in stride.
