What People Are Saying

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 62 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Still satisfied One of the largest top freezer you can purchase. Looks beautiful. No handles, so it is a nice space saver. Needs more interior light, is a little dark in the back of unit. Freezer light is nice and bright. Refrigerator temperature control is positioned too low and blocks tall bottles from being placed in the center back of the unit which is odd. Love the pantry drawer. As with all stainless steel appliances a dent remover should be included. Manual has many typos and grammatical errors. Website has wrong dimensions, they underestimate, so measure unit in store. Some dealers give the correct size on their web. Purchased 5 months ago. August 21, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by The freezer compartment is very spacious. Overall I am very pleased with this refrigerator. The freezer compartment is more than adequate. The only complaint I have is that the lighting in the refrigerator compartment could be better. August 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best decision this year Besides being spacious and quiet, I am saving almost $12 a month over the old, small refrigerator and old freezer that I have had for years. 415 August 15, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by the size of freeze meets our need. THE LIGHT IS GOOD AND THE SPACE INSIDE AND SHELVES. August 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product has great features. This product has lots of room for a top freezer refrigerator. The shelves are designed for maximum use. August 7, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good fridge, but needs better lighting Good fridge. Lots of room. Fits in smaller place. Lighting not the greatest. Needs more lighting on top shelves. July 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful and efficient I love the style of the refrigerator and the interior lighting is wonderful. They make everything easy to find. The interior is spacious, especially on the door. I wouldn't change anything about it! June 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This LG refrigerator is nice and quiet I purchased a 24 cubic foot LG top freezer refrigerator on May 10,2015. I had previously purchased another brand and it made so many loud noises, I returned it and purchased this LG refrigerator. When I first got it, I would walk into my kitchen and I couldn't tell it was on, it was so quiet. The 24 cubic foot LG is large and spacious. I love the deli drawer. My only complaint in the refrigerator is the lighting. If it was overhead it would light up the whole refrigerator. The placement of the lights on the side of the refrigerator only lights up the front of the refrigerator. I like the recessed door handles. It keeps the front of the refrigerator clean. I love the spacious freezer. I freeze a lot of meals and that works great for me. I haven't hooked up the automatic ice maker, I have no use for it. It would have been nice if that was an optional feature. The freezer keeps things nice and cold and so does the refrigerator. I like the glass shelves and the hard plastic holders that are in the door of the refrigerator and the freezer. My 22 year old refrigerator had a pull out basket in the freezer that was a really nice feature. All in all, for what is on sale in the market today, this is the nicest refrigerator for the money! Just got this frig yesterday. Every time I close the refrigerator door, the freezer door pops open. When you pull the freezer door open, it doesn't feel as if the seal is very tight. The doors seem to be aligned correctly.

Answer:
I have the exact same issue. The freezer door seal seems much looser than the fridge door.

I've had my fridge for 2 weeks and it still is happening. Almost every time the fridge door closes, it pops open the freezer door slightly. I can always tell because the fridge starts making a lot of noise and I can see ice crystals forming on the items in the freezer. How is this fixed????? This has never happened with any fridge I have ever owned.

Answer:
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this refrigerator. The impact of the air pressure inside the refrigerator, when the door closes can rush back into the freezer compartment, can cause the freezer door to open. This has been known to occur with most, if not all refrigerator manufacturers. The pressure in the door seal can be related directly to the difference between the air temperature inside the compartment, and outside it. As this unit was just received and installed, it is possible that the temperature difference has not increased enough to feel tight, but will as time progresses.

Answer:
Ours did not. I would use a braided stainless steel. I move a lot of refrigerators doing kitchen remodels. Stainless is the only way to go. If they don't have one before we start, they have one before we leave.

Answer:
At Lowe's it did not come with a line but it could be purchased separately. I had a plumber come and put in a new line since we had never had an ice maker before.
The plumber installed a cooper line. Hope this helps

Answer:
Mine will not maintain 0 to -10 without freezing vegetables in the refrigerator. to keep the refrigerator at 35 to 40 degrees, the freezer will only get to between -5 and 10 degrees. 0 to 10 is way too warm fro a freezer. It is a beautiful refrig but with this and other desing flaws.

My Ice maker will not make ice

Water line is working, gave it over 24 hours and still no ice. Switch turned to the on position, can not hear water going into ice maker, I have the French door refrig in another house and I can hear that when the water moves through the line. Also the it says there should be some kind of noise or buzzer to let us know it's working and that is not sounding. PS I read all the directions. Thanks
