The monitor product basically consists of the display(LCD), electrical circuits and plastic materials.
If the monitor works properly, then heat with approximate temperature of 104~113℉ will be generated on the surface of LCD, and also the devices attached to the electrical circuits will generate heat, thus causing temporary effects to the PCB and the plastic material to generate slight odors.
Odors can be found during the early phase after the purchase only, so rest assured as it is not a product defect.
In addition, after some time, the odors will disappear normally.
