Causes and Symptom
- Rotation is degraded compared to my previous washing machine.
- Rotation is weak when washing.
- The water level is too high. I washed a duvet with a large volume or a lot of laundry.
- I used the Hand/Wool cycle.

Do you feel that rotation has degraded when compared to your previous washing machine?
➔ Washing machines of the past wash laundry using simple rotations, but recent models remove dirt from the fabric without damaging it by regulating the movement of the wash plate and the tub through efficient motor control.
That is why you might think the rotation is degraded in comparison.
You could also feel like the cleaning power or rotating power has degraded because the noise that motors in new models make is relatively quieter during washing, because direct drive motors (DD motors) are used in newer models, unlike top load washing machines of the past.
(For some models with DD motors only)
Motors in newly released models have changed to those that are quieter yet wash with higher power.
Therefore, rest assured as it is not a product defect.
Do you feel that rotation is weak when washing?
➔ In case of washing machines with 6 Motions, Wash Motion and Untangle Fabric Motion are repeated several times during the washing process.
During periods where fabrics are being untangled, the tub slowly rotates and untangles bundled or tangled fabrics using the wash plate, so there is a possibility that you observed operation during this period and so think the rotation looks weak.
Rest assured as it is not a product defect, but a part of the normal washing process.
Is the water level too high? Did you wash a duvet with large volume or a lot of laundry?
➔ If you wash laundry that floats in water because it is voluminous but the weight is comparatively low, such as a duvet or puffer jackets, or a lot of laundry, the rotation may not be seen when viewing from the top yet it could be high at the bottom.
As there are many fabrics, the time for all the fabrics to mix up and down will be longer.
(The higher the water level, the longer washing will take.)
This is a principle similar to the case of a blender in which the bottom part of food rotates and thus is ground, while the upper part appears to hardly move.
In addition, if the water level is high, the rotation may be weaker than when the water level is lower, as if rotation at high water levels was as strong as in lower levels water may be splashed onto the floor.
Did you use the Hand/Wool cycle?
➔ The rotating power may vary by cycle in order to provide adequate efficient washing for each cycle.
Rotation may be especially weaker for the Hand/Wool cycle than other cycles in order to avoid damaging the fabric.
