[LG front load washing machine dry] The machine is not drying.

Troubleshooting

What is a condensing drying method?

➔ This is the method of collecting internal moisture and discharging it to the outside.

As front load washing machines dry the laundry using a condensing drying method, the clothes cannot be dried if water supply is poor.
If there are foreign objects in the drain filter, the drainage will be poor and the clothes may not be dried.

Try this

How to clean the drain filter

First, check if the faucet is open.
Check if the hot water and cold water hoses are connected properly, and verify that the water supply hoses are not bent.
If the faucet is open and the water supply hoses are connected properly, remove and thoroughly clean the drain filter.

Note
A large amount of water may flow onto the floor when cleaning the drain filter.
Before opening the pump cap, check if there is any hot water in the tub.
Hot water can cause burn injuries.
Warning!

Take caution if the floor is made of solid wood.

➔ When it is okay if water flows onto the floor

1. When you open the cover at the lower left side of the front, you will see a large cap and the residual water hose. (Some models have the service cover on the right side.)
2. Turn the large cap to the left and pull it out, and remove any residual water and foreign objects.
3. Clean the filter and reassemble. (Make sure to close the large cap to prevent leakage.)
4. Close the service cover.

➔ When it is not okay if water flows onto the floor

1. When you open the cover at the lower left side of the front, you will see a large cap and the residual water hose. (Some models have the service cover on the right side.)
2. Prepare a mop or basin to prevent the floor from getting wet.

3. Hold the residual water hose, pull it forward to open the cap. Remove the cap and drain the water.
Collect the residual water using the prepared basin.
While the cap is open, keep holding the hose and do not let it slip.
