Troubleshooting
Document

Is there a puddle of water near the washer? Is the washer dripping water?

Let’s find out more

Are there signs of leakage near the washer?

➔ Find out whether the leak is due to a fault in the machine, or a broken tap or another reason through a simple test outlined below.

If the leak is not due to a malfunctioning of the machine, only paid service will be available even during the warranty period.

Checking the cause of the leak
1. Run a rinse and spin-dry cycle without any items in the drum.
2. If a leak occurs during operation, locate the source of the leak and follow the below steps.
※ If a leak does not occur, it is highly likely not a machine-related problem.

Try this

Is there a puddle near the drain hole?

The leak could be due to a detached or improperly attached drain hose to the drain hole.
Another possibility is a clogged drain hole causing backflow.
Additionally, a leak from the boiler might be causing a puddle near the washer or the drain hole.

Is the leak coming from the rear of the washer?

➔ If the leak is coming from the rear, where the tap or drain hole is located,
it could indicate an issue with the drainage or water supply parts.
Additionally, the leak could be due to over-sudsing from excess detergent usage.

Check the detergent manufacturer’s recommended dosage.

Is the water supply hose or the tap leaking?

➔ Detach the inlet hose and reconnect.

If the tap is leaking, it is likely that the issue lies with the tap, not the machine.

Is it leaking from the lower side of the washer door?

➔ If there are dirt and foreign substances stuck within the door gasket, leakage may occur.

Please clean the gasket.

※ If the gasket is torn or damaged, replacement is necessary. Please contact service.
