While using the robot vacuum cleaner, does it make sounds as it hits the floor?
Does the motor sound get louder and quieter repeatedly?
Although the robot vacuum cleaner is small, as it has a smart inverter mounted in it, it can suck in air from the floor very hard for cleaning.
Especially, by using the turbo or smart turbo function, you can increase the suction power more than the perfect cleaning or zigzag mode, thus noises can be louder.
In addition, if the dust bin is full, then air flows will be reduced, thus it will try to suck in ever harder and loud noises can be generated.
As the robot vacuum cleaner's rotating brush, wheel or caster moves, dusts and foreign objects can be stuck there, thus as it contacts the floor, sounds can be generated.
Causes and Symptoms
- It is cleaning in turbo or smart turbo mode.
- Dust bin is filled up with dusts.
- There are dusts or foreign objects in the rotating brush.
- There are dusts or foreign objects in the wheel or caster.
- Robot vacuum cleaner is cleaning a rough floor.

Is the robot vacuum cleaner cleaning the floor in turbo or smart turbo mode?
➔ It is natural to generate noises in mode where high suction power is used.
By using the turbo or smart turbo function, you can increase the suction power more, thus noises can be louder.
Especially, if you select the smart turbo function, the robot vacuum cleaner will use the dust sensor to assess places with lots of dusts and increase the suction power accordingly.
Also, when it moves over a rough floor or over a carpet, it increases the suction power, and in this case, noises can be louder.
Is the dust bin full and ready for emptying?
➔ If the dust bin is filled up completely, noises can be louder.
First, take out the dust bin and the dust separator before cleaning.
For your safety, turn off the power of the robot vacuum cleaner first before cleaning the dust bin.
By pressing the Dust Bin Cover button(cover separation button), open the cover and take out the dust bin. After that, emptying the dust bin by pressing the Dust Bin button(dust bin separation button).
After that, take out the dust separator by turning it CW. Clean it with water or by using a vacuum cleaner.
Make sure to dry the dust separator for more than 24 hours.
Are foreign objects wrapping around the rotating brush?
➔ First remove foreign objects before use.
For your safety, turn off the power of the robot vacuum cleaner first.
After turning the robot vacuum cleaner upside down, press the rotating brush cover button(separation button) to take out the rotating brush cover from the nozzle.
After that, while pressing down the separate lever for the rotating brush(separation button), lift the rotating brush to remove hair or dust.
Press the cover until you hear the clicking sounds when you insert the rotating brush again.
Are there foreign objects or dusts intertangled in the wheel or caster at the bottom of the robot vacuum cleaner?
➔ First remove foreign objects before use.
When the robot vacuum cleaner’s wheel or caster moves, dusts and foreign objects can get stuck there.
Is the robot vacuum cleaner moving against the grain of the floor?
➔ On an uneven floor, the nozzle or cleaning brush might hit the floor and thus generating sounds.
Turn the charging station by 90 degrees to make sure that it does not move against the grain of the floor.
When the robot vacuum cleaner is cleaning floor, the bottom cleaning brush will operate.
On an uneven floor such as reinforced floor or location with dents, if you go against the grain, it can generate sounds due to a friction with the floor.
