■ Solution or Settings

▶ Inspection checklist

1. Clean the pre-filter at the back of the appliance.

If the filter is blocked by dust,

    1) Water droplets may be splattered along with the cold wind.

    2) Water droplets / condensation may be formed around the air vent where the cold air is discharged.

[Panel located on the front  (Filter located on the front)]

Lift up the front panel and take out the filter.

[Panel located on the top (Filter located on the top) : filter on the top air intake vent]

Lift up the front panel and take out the filter.

3. Please check if the drain hose is installed downward.

If it's not installed downward or bent, it is hard to drain smoothly and water may flow backward and leak out of the product.

Install the drain hose downward and adjust so that it can be straight without bending.

4. Check if the end of the drain hose is connected to the water tank or the end of the hose is immersed in the water tank.

If the end of the hose is immersed in water, water may flow back and leak out of the product.

Empty the water in the bucket frequently so that the end of the hose is not immersed in water.

5. Check if the appliance is being used while cooking or on cooling mode with windows open on humid days.

In cases where there is a big temperature difference between the room and the air outlet vent, in days with high humidity or when the appliance was used

while cooking (the room temperature ), the appliance may have symptoms of white steam(misty wind) and form condensation around the air outlet vent.

6. In case water leaks when the appliance is turned off or not in use.

The condensate water produced during the operation may leak out of the appliance if it's not drained properly.

It is necessary to check if the drain hose is properly connected.

1)Did the leakage happen after the installation / reinstallation of the appliance?

When installing the appliance, make sure that the drain hose is properly connected.

Request the service technician to check the installing conditions such as the drain hose installation and drainage gradient.

2) Did the leakage happen during the operation and not after the installation/reinstallation?

▶ It is necessary to request a service technician for a precise inspection.
