My TV gets hot.

Symptom

All electronics generate the heat while their circuits are operated, and there are some difference among products due to the operation type.

- LCD TV
This product presents colors by giving off the light with lamp and controlling the light penetrating the liquid crystal. When heat generated from lamp and parts is combined, heat exceeding certain temperature is generated.
   

- LED TV

This is divided into two types when LCD TV uses LED as a source of light.

① Direct type : Put LED arrays like a checkerboard all over the display.

② Edge type : Put Led arrays on the edge of the display.
