[LG TV UHD Broadcasting] I want to watch UHD channels

Troubleshooting

If the UHD signal is transmitted to the set-top device but UHD broadcasts do not appear, you must first check if the HDMI cable you are using is version 2.0 or higher and then run TV settings.

Try this

To watch UHD broadcasts, UHD signals must be transmitted to a wired set-top device or other related external device.

If the UHD signal is transmitted to the set-top device but UHD broadcasts do not appear, you must first check if the HDMI cable you are using is version 2.0 or higher and then run TV settings.
Press the External Input button on the Magic Remote.
Check the right side of the screen if the current broadcast is connected via the antenna or the HDMI input.

If it is connected to the HDMI port, press and hold the Settings button on the Magic Remote for about 5 seconds to enter [Detailed Settings].

Press [General] in [Detailed Settings].
Select HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color from the list in the General menu.
Check if the currently connected HDMI port is set to Off.

If it is set to Off, change it to On so that the TV can support UHD image

Press the Restart button again to restart the TV and finish the settings.
Now you can receive UHD signals and watch them on the screen.

If you cannot watch UHD channels yet, please check if the output resolution in the Settings menu of the set-top box is set to 2160p (60fps).

If UHD channels still don’t work properly even after the resolution is set correctly, please contact the manufacturer of the set-top box.
