This feature provides audible commentaries for the visually challenged people, explaining the on-screen content.
Please be aware that this feature is only available if supported by the broadcasting company.
If you are using a set-top box, check the corresponding option in the Settings menu of the set-top box.
You can enable or disable the function by changing the commentary or sound-multiplex settings.
Setting methods may differ by product.

Causes and Symptoms

  • While watching a broadcast or soap opera, I hear commentaries describing character movements and background details.
