            Causes and Symptoms

<li>There is something wrong with the setting of a connection between the sound bar and TV.</li>

            If you connect the sound bar and TV via an optical cable, you can enjoy deeper and richer sounds from TV.<br>
            However, if there is something wrong with the function selection for the sound bar or the speaker output setting for TV, then there might be no sound despite video being displayed properly.

            If the TV volume is set too high, then when you connect the sound bar, you will hear the beeping sound or howling of your voice.<br>
            Before making a connection, minimize the TV volume and adjust the sound volume with the sound bar remote control.
        </p>

            ③ After long pressing the [Settings] button of the TV remote control, select [Sound] in the main Settings menu.<br>
            After that, go to the [Output Speaker] list and select [LG Sound Sync(Optical Digital)].<br>
            Once TV and the sound bar are connected, the display of the sound bar will show [LG OPT].
