[LG top load washing machine] Note the following before you use a detergent.

Troubleshooting

Try this

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions when you use a detergent or fabric softener.

Excessive use of detergents and fabric softeners that are not dissolved and remain inside the product may cause a bad smell.

If you do not dilute liquid detergents, put them into the tub, and don’t operate the product for a long time, damage to your clothes, discoloration and/or bleaching may occur.

Liquid detergents put in the detergent box may flow down and directly contact your clothes. Make sure that you dilute detergents before use or ensure that they don’t directly touch your laundry.

In cases of using a liquid detergent, you cannot use the scheduled washing.

Do not use detergent specifically designed for drum washers but use those formulated for ordinary washing.

Dedicated drum washer detergents contain bubble restrainers that restrict the generation of bubbles.
Use of a dedicated drum washer detergent in the top load washing machine that uses lots of water may compromise the washing effect.

Use of laundry soaps (natural fats) is not recommended

Prolonged use of laundry soaps may cause dirt to come from the laundry and be left in the tub staining your laundry.

Liquid detergents are recommended for washing bedding. Ensure that powdered detergents are dissolved in warm water before use.

Regular cleaning of the tub using the tub cleaning or sterilization course may help keep your tub clean and sanitary.
