[LG top load washing machine] Clothes get caught between the tub and the casing around it. Clothes came out of the tub.

Troubleshooting

When lots of laundry, or bulky and lightweight laundry (puffer jackets, duvets, waterproof clothes, pillows, etc.) are being washed, they may float, be pushed over while the tub is spinning, and thus either get caught between the tub and the casing around it or fall out of the tub.

Try this

  • When lots of laundry, or bulky and lightweight laundry (puffer jackets, duvets, waterproof clothes, pillows, etc.) are being washed, they may float and get caught between the tub and the casing around it.
In such a case, damage your clothes or the washing machine may be damaged, so you should wash them following the correct procedure.
  • Bulky and light-weight laundry should be fully soaked by pushing it under the water with your hand before you start washing.
If there are too many clothes, divide them into smaller loads and wash only a reasonable load of clothes each time. Remove contents from cushions, pillows or sitting mats and wash the covers only.
  • For duvets, separately run the Duvet Course. For waterproof clothing or sportswear, make sure that you run the Sportswear cycle and fully soak them before washing.
  • If small laundry items, such as socks, fall out of the tub, it may be difficult for you to remove them. However, there should be no problem in the functionality of the washing machine, so you can continue using your machine.
