Let's find out more.
Large loads can reduce drying performance. Depending on the fabric type, shrinkage or damage may occur. Drying performance can also be affected if the water supply valve is closed or if water remains in the drain hose.
Try this.
Before starting the dryer:
➔ Do not exceed the maximum drying capacity.
To improve drying performance, do not exceed the maximum drying capacity. Refer to the drying capacity label located on the right side of the washer drum opening.
➔ Ensure the fabric is suitable for drying.
Cotton-blend shirts, blouses, sleepwear, underwear, and jeans are typically dryer-safe. Avoid drying delicate fabrics like wool, silk, or leather, as these may shrink or become damaged. Always check the care label before drying.
➔ For additional drying after a cycle completes, press the Dry button.
Washer-dryer combos have a lower default drying setting to prevent wrinkles and fabric damage from over-drying. If your clothes need additional drying after a cycle finishes, press the Dry button. Do not add detergent or fabric softener when using the Dry cycle only.
➔ When drying wet items, always include a spin cycle.
If drying performance is poor:
➔ Make sure the water supply valve is open.
The washer-dryer combo uses a small amount of water during the drying cycle and expels hot, humid air through the drain hose. It is normal for the appliance to cycle through small amounts of water intake and drainage during drying to improve performance. Ensure the water supply valve is open, especially in areas with low water pressure, as this can affect drying performance.
➔ Straighten the drain hose and ensure it lies flat on the ground.
If water collects in the drain hose during drying, you may hear a knocking or thumping sound. This can reduce drying efficiency because hot, humid air is not properly expelled. For optimal drainage and drying, straighten the drain hose and ensure it lies flat on the ground.
