Did you check if the power supply is connected properly?
1. If the power cord is loose, the power cord may overheat or the power may be turned off.
Pull the power cord out, cool the cord for approximately 30 minutes, then reconnect the power cord correctly and restart the air conditioner.
2. Avoid using a power strip, and connect it directly to an exclusive outlet on the wall.
3. If a power strip must be used due to the installation environment, use a 16 or higher amps power strip with a cable thickness between 2 to 2.5mm(0.08in~0.1in). The air conditioner must be used alone.
Is the operation mode not set to cooling?
1. Check the operation mode of the air conditioner.
① Set the general cooling mode and the target temperature of 18℃(64.4°F), and operate it for more than 30 minutes and check if it is cold.
② Dehumidification, AI[A1], power saving operation and so on might not feel cold enough.
Did you clean the filter?
➔ Clean the ultra fine filter.
A contaminated filter may cause decreased cooling capacity, noises or condensation.
The functional filter apart from the ultra fine filter cannot be washed with water
depending on the characteristics, so refer to the user manual and check the filter management methods
before cleaning.
The wall mounted type air conditioner requires a different method of separating the ultra fine filter
depending on the type of front panel assembly.
After checking the location of filter for each product, remove the ultra fine filter.
① Use a cleaning machine or a soft brush to and clean it.
If it is severely contaminated, wash it with water using neutral detergent.
② Avoid the direct sunlight and make sure to dry it in the shade with good air ventilation until it has no moisture in it and then assemble it again.
Did you check the environment of the outdoor unit?
➔ Remove obstacles near the outdoor unit.
If ventilation is not smooth due to an obstacle, cooling may be degraded.
➔ Open the window of the place where the outdoor unit is located or the ventilation window in the outdoor unit room.
