[LG Air Conditioner Heating] Heating does not provided, and preheat takes long

Troubleshooting

If preheat takes long and occurs frequently, install an air guide to prevent outdoor unit from cold temperature, or remove obstacles or clean dusts off to reduce preheat time, and facilitate heating performance.

Lukewarm air blowing all day long

If the pipe is not sufficiently preheated due to sudden drop of temperature, air blows slower than normal condition, or lukewarm air blows for a long period of time to fail elevating indoor temperature.
Heated air becomes lighter and rises toward the ceiling, and cool air gets heavier and moves downward. Air is warm in the vicinity of the outlet vent only, and the entire indoor space may be felt chill.

The defrosting lamp and the preheat lamp are frequently light.

Warm refrigerant in the air conditioner circulates indoor, and cold refrigerant does outdoor during the heating mode.
Getting ready for preheat is required to warm the inside of the product when starting the heating mode, and defrosting sector is required to remove or prevent freezing of the outdoor unit caused by chill refrigerant during the heating mode.
If the climate is humid, or it snows, freezing on the rear side of the outdoor unit may be frequent.
The outdoor unit temporarily stops during defrosting, and the sector of warm air becomes shorter to cause weak heating.

※ Lighting of the lamps during preheat/defrosting may vary among models.

Try this

Install an air guide, remove obstacles, or clean dusts off.

Preheat/defrosting takes maximum 15 minutes; however some products may takes 1 hour or longer for removing latent heat.
It may also take 1 hour or longer due to various variables such as outdoor temperature/humidity, and freezing conditions of products.
If preheat takes long and occurs frequently, install an air guide to prevent outdoor unit from cold temperature, or remove obstacles or clean dusts off to reduce preheat time, and facilitate heating performance.
