[LG refrigerator - leak] There is lots of ice in the bottom of the freezing compartment.

Troubleshooting

The drainage of the freezing compartment is blocked by ice or foreign objects so that the water from melted ice (frost) cannot run into the drain tray but runs back and freezes in the bottom of the freezing compartment.

Try this

1. If you have a spare refrigerator, move your food into it.

2. Disconnect the power plug of the product.

3. With the doors of the freezing/refrigeration compartments wide open, ice melts in a day in the summer and in three days in the winter.

4. Once the ice has melted completely, water will normally run out to the drain tray.

※ If you are worried about your food, it is recommended that you contact LG Service for an inspection by a service technician.
