There is a motor (compressor) inside the water purifier which is used to chill water, similar to how refrigerators work.
The rear of the purifier getting hot is due to the same process that causes the outdoor unit of the air-conditioner to discharge hot air or the rear of the refrigerator to emit heat.
Heat being released to the outside as the motor operates is a normal part of the cooling mechanism.
Try this
It is normal to feel warmth near the heat sink as it tries to maintain the temperature of the cold water.
To facilitate the dissipation of heat from the heat sink, it is recommended to keep a minimum distance of 10cm between the product and the wall.
