What People Are Saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok, but could be improved The drive installed ok, and was picked up by windows 7 no problems. I don't like how loud it when it opens/closes. Sounds like an old man getting out of a recliner! Playback is fine, but it's a drive so you'd hope things like that would work. Haven't tried burning any discs yet, so hopefully the burning software bundled with the drive finds the drive ok. You would think that LG's website would actually have a listing for this product so you could download a manual or check the driver is the latest. Try searching for this model today ( Aug, 2012 #, and none are found. Whats up with that?!? Does LG have so little faith in the product, they don't want to be associated with it # despite the LG logo front and center on the drive itself? #. Ridiculous! I also thought for a laugh I'd install the Cyberlink BD Advisor # which came with the drive ). It tells me the system is not ready for Blu-rays as no Blu-ray drive could be found. Erm... right... Apparently if I fix that "problem" I'm ready to play blu-rays and 3d blu-ray. Pretty poor on both counts, LG. Will have to think long and hard before buying any more LG products.
