Dear Valuable LG customers

The bleow information is only applied for customers having "47LY3DE".

Before you refer to this posting, please make sure you have the same model number as "47LY3DE"

For this software upgrade, USB(Memory Stick) over 50M Byte is necessary.

** Steps to do **

1. Make folder "LG_DTV" in your USB

2. Click the below (1) link (for Software)

(1)  www.lge.com/au/download/TV_Software/LTV/47LY3DE.epk 

3. Save “~.epk” file into “LG_DTV” folder

4. Click the below (2) links(for User Manual) relying on TV size.

(2)  www.lge.com/au/download/TV_Software/LTV/47LY3DE.pdf 

5. Save into USB and open on “PDF” program.

6. Follow processes on the manual.

I have a 50PB4D. I would like to do software upgrade..

To successfully complete this Software Update, you will need a USB Memory Stick (Thumb/Flash drive) that is at least 128Mb and clean formatted in the FAT16 or FAT32 format.

** Steps to follow **

1. Make a folder on the USB Memory Stick named "LG_DTV" (the folder name is case sensitive).

2. Click the link below (1) to download the new TV Software:

3. Save the “~.epk” file into “LG_DTV” folder on your USB Memory Stick.

4. Click the link below (2) to download a Step-by-Step guide on how to complete the Software Update:

5. Print the guide, and take it & and your USB Memory Stick to the TV.

6. Follow the steps on the guide to update your TV.
