What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LG LP0910WNR Review I think LG LP0910WNR is a portable air conditioner that has been designed to give sufficient cooling to rooms that are as large as 300 square feet. It gives you the best value for your money by doubling up as a cooler and a dehumidifier. This air conditioner comes with a good number of features that will make your work easy and enable you to cool your house more efficiently. Let’s take a closer look at these features. First of all, it’s important to start with the feature that most people start with when looking for air conditioners: programmability. This unit enables you to stay in control of the temperature within your home even when you are not physically present at home. The 24 hour on/off timer will let you decide the times when the air conditioner will be on and the times when it will be off. This way, you will be able to keep the internal environments in your home conducive without involving children in the process and at the same time conserving as much energy as possible. The LG LP0910WNR has been designed to give a cooling power of up to 9000 BTU that can effortlessly cool areas as big as 300 square feet. The cold air can be directed easily to any part of the room that needs cooling thanks to the 2-way air direction that’s provided by the design of the vents. To further enhance the convenience that you’ll get with this device, the LG LP0910WNR comes with a remote control that enables you to set the amount of cooling that you’ll get without having to leave your seat. Unfortunately, just like many of the indoor air conditioners, this unit has to be ventilated to the outside of the room. This interferes with the unit’s mobility to some extent. However, it will not be a bother when you consider that the unit comes with a window installation kit with detailed instructions on how to set up the vent. Many of you will probably consider me a biased reviewer if I don’t mention the convenience that you will get with the LG LP0910WNR. Some of the features that have been included to ensure that you get as much convenience as possible include a self-evaporation system that will give you the peace of mind that comes with knowing that you will not need to empty any water bucket. You’ll also get a 2-speed fan that will ensure that you are in control at all times. When it comes to maintenance and usability, the LG LP0910WNR gives you good value for your money thanks to features like the automatic restart that will ensure that you don’t need to physically switch the device on after a power blackout. Another great one is seen in the washable air filters that will save you the money that you would have otherwise spend on replacements. It comes with digital controls that come with an easy to read screen that will ensure that you get a precise temperature adjustment in the room. Considering the features that you will get with this unit, we can comfortably conclude that it will give you the best value for your money. Unless you are yet to master the art of making excuses to justify your purchase, you will have no problem finding enough reasons to buy this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste These are basically really expensive fans. We've got two going in our bedroom, plus a ceiling fan and stand-up fan and they aren't going any lower than 85.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of junk Bought this item 2 summers ago. Only used it for 2 summers and now doesn't blow cold air. It should last more than 6 months worth of use. Now it's out of warranty and if I want to use it anymore I gotta pay more money to fix it. Nothing is made of quality these days.

My room is only 15x14 I leave it on all day and the lowest the temperature will get is 81° I've cleaned the filters I've done everything. Not once in the past 3 years has it cooled my room down below 79° . I've read reviews and everyone talks hear about this product but mine hasn't done it's job the whole time I've had it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well at keeping TV room cool. we bought this to cool the TV room, our house was built in 1909 and as you can imagine it has poor air circulation. we put a swamp cooler in the back which is fine fro the bedrooms, but useless up in front. so we tried this and it works well, but is noisey,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great unit I've had my unit 3yrs and love it. It still blows cold air and works very well. Only complaint is it would be better if the vent blowing the air did more than move slightly up and down in direction.

What does E2 mean Ac won't come on

Asked by: Becky59
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this portable air conditioner. According to page 23 of the owner’s manual, the E2 error code suggests an Automatic Shut-down has occurred in order to protect the sensor and/or other damage to the machine. The air conditioner will likely require service. MY AC BLOWS OUT COLD AIR THEN HOT AIR AND WHEN I TRY TO PUT IT ON COOL OR HIGH THE LIGHT DOES NOT TURN ON

Asked by: Chucky442
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this air conditioner. It is recommended first to see how hot it is outside the room. The ambient temperature can directly affect the performance of the A/C. In what size room has this unit been installed? If a unit is too large, then the cooling system will run a short cycle (turn on and off continuously), cooling the immediate area around the unit, but not the rest of the room. A smaller device may be required. If this does not appear to be the case, then please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

How long should I run the DRY mode to drain water? And after I drain water, when should I run the DRY mode again after ive been using the COOL mode?

Asked by: Tinat
You need to run the DRY mode on the LG 9,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner with remote, Model # LP0910WNR for as long as you need to remove the humidity in the room that you need to dehumidifying, how long and when you should run the DRY mode again after you're been using the COOL mode will depend on how humid your environment is. Removing humidity from a room helps the room feel cooler and less sticky so run it until you feel comfortable...^IFV

LP0910WNR - works fine until the back hose for exhaust air is attached then keeps shutting off the compressor - with the back hose off - keeps working fine. What do you think is going on, note the compressor compacitor has been replaced....

My ac when turned on has a P2 blinking and will not turn on

Asked by: Bob45
We appreciate your interest in this portable air conditioner. The need to empty the unit will depend entirely upon the humidity level in the room. Higher humidity will draw more moisture. The machine is designed to advise when/if the tank needs to be emptied, the code P2 will appear in the display.

I keep getting a error-4. I've cleaned coil and filters.  Defrost stays on for 20 min then back to Ac for 5 min.  It's hot in here!!!!!  Help please.

Asked by: Harley77
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this portable air conditioner. According to the information on page 23 of the owner’s manual, the E4 code occurs when the Coil Sensor registers a temperature below 2 degrees Celsius, or below 35.6 degrees Fahrenheit. The device will start cooling again when the coil temperature raises above 8 degrees Celsius, or above 46.4 degrees Fahrenheit. This can occur frequently if the air conditioner is too powerful for the room in which it operates.
