I would have purchased another manufacturer but would have to rebuild my wall. This was put in an opening in the wall and not in a window. I use it to cool a room of around 60 square feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Window A/C Unit. I bought two of these A/C units and a floor unit at Home Depot a few months ago when our central A/C would cost more to replace. I love the energy saving mode on the LG A/C units I have purchased. My electric bill is lower with LG units cooling my mobile home. I love the slinger blade for the unit putting moisture back into the air from the drip pan as a better design by LG over other A/C window units.

The performance of this airconditioner exceeds my expectations it's quite but yet powerful and cools the room evenly. It is one of the best air conditioners I have ever owned. I'm glad I purchased a LG.

Why do you have to wait three minutes to turn the unit back on ?

We appreciate your interest in this air conditioner and its operations. The recommendation to wait for 3 minutes is to prevent an electrical overload to the compressor. This is for the protection of the operations of the machine.

There is a nest next to the ac, I don't want to disturb the babies or even hurt them, do this ac blows air on the sides? Under? Or in the back? Does it blow hot air if I turn it on the coldest setting?

We appreciate your interest in this air conditioner. The side vents of this cabinet are Air Intake vents, used to cool the system. Hot, humid air will only blow out the back of the cabinet. This will occur regardless of the temperature set in the COOL mode.

How do clean the Styrofoam in the unit. It comes in 2 pieces

Can I order replacement screws for my air conditioner?

We appreciate your interest in this air conditioner. Unfortunately, hardware of this nature is not available from our parts distributors. However, this model is designed to use 14 10mm short screws and 4 16mm wood screws.

Hi i have almost a year with this unit, and ive begun to use it more often but im having trouble getting cold air does it need water or any refills of any kinds??

It should also not require checking the amount of water in the machine, as the water that has been extracted from the humidity in the air will be re-used by the machine to enhance efficiency of the cooling process.
