Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stove is easy to use. The only disappointment is the oven bulbs. Upper oven burned out within weeks and now after a few months the bottom one also needs to be replaced. Other than that oven meets all expectations and we are very happy with purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great range, and has many great features we had bought this range, and decided to sell our home and purchase a new rang, so we bought the same range for our new home, as having two ovens make baking easy, and as most of the things we bake we do in the smaller oven, we save on our electricity bill..The stove top is easy to use, and clean this range cmes with a clean look and works better than any other range we have had

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG LDE3035ST So far so good. The burners are more powerful than our last oven. The burners and oven heat up faster as well. The literal "bells and whistles" take getting used to #i.e. when the oven reaches temp a little tune is played, and played# but they are what they are. My only complaint is the oven racks. They have little ears/tabs that stick up and make is difficult to slide pans out of the oven or setting large pizza pans in it. Overall we are happy with the oven and it's features. We have not used very many features #self clean# as of today but the oven has plenty of features or options to choose from.

Does the LG model 3031 ST have an anti tip bracket available?

Ttentancy requiriements suggest anti tip brackets for ovens. Please let me know what part number I can order and from where for a model similar o LDE 3031 ST (5 burner, double oven, not an easy clean... maybe a 2013 model year/ Thank youl
Asked by: Gwynedd
Hello Gywnedd. Anti-tip devices became a UL requirement on June 3, 1991. The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) created standards in 1991 that require all ranges manufactured after that year to be capable of remaining stable while supporting 250 pounds of weight on their open doors. Manufacturers' instructions, too, require that anti-tip brackets provided be installed. If you do not have one installed on your oven, you can order one from any of the following LG Authorized Parts Distributors, but you will need to give them the Model number of your oven to get one that fits your oven: Encompass Parts 866-779-7906 MCM Electronics 800-824-9491 Andrews Electronics 800-274-4666^IFV

Why is there no bottom heat element in the large oven?

Can you explain the heating system in the large oven since it has not bottom heat element? I am wondering if the top of things will burn since that element will have to come on to keep the oven heated. Thanks,
Asked by: Alaska
I am not an engineer but I would guess that it was easier and perhaps more cost effective to have the heating elements close to one another in the housing. The heating elements are within a few inches of each other only separated by the bottom of the top oven and the top of the bottom oven. I have found that you simply have to lower your rack in the bottom oven to compensate for the difference in element location. The plus side is the broiling and browning are much easier and quicker.

large oven burns top of cookies

i mostly use the top oven. however, when i use the lower oven to make 2 sheets of biscotti, and it burns the tops, even tho i switch the sheets. What is going on? i cannot bake 2 sheets in the top oven. this is very annoying!
Asked by: ecando
My guess is that you are use to baking in ovens were the heating element is located on the bottom of the oven. This unit has the heating element on the top. You are likely placing the rack too close to the heating element. I suggest that you lower your racks so they are not too close to the element or lower your baking temp. Additionally the element in the top oven is on the bottom of the oven. You may want to use it since you are use to using an oven with the heating element on the bottom.
