What People Are Saying

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 47 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great range I bought this range on a whim. I am a renter & did have a decent range even tho it was 13 years old.I just wanted a new range not a need. When I saw this LG with the hidden coil in the BLUE awesome oven I said 'oh I am buying this.' it was on sale too at Lowes.Love love this range. The only thing is you have to really watch your pots & skillets they will slide around. Top is so easy to clean.Have not cleaned the oven yet. I do not use it that much since it is over 100` most days now. Best thing I have done for myself is buy this range.LOVE it.. July 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Replacement Oven The oven that came with our house when we moved in finally gave out. We searched a lot of ovens, read a lot of reviews, and finally narrowed it down to this one. When we first tried it out, it's a lot different from our old coil-burner stove, so it took some getting used to. After using it for over a month now, we like it a lot. It's very easy to clean, and looks really nice in our kitchen. We even like the blue/purple interior of the oven, because it makes it really bright when you open it, so it's easy to see inside and check on your food while it's cooking. Overall, it has been a great buy so far. July 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stove Our stove was 21 years old did not know what we were missing and out dated our stove had become.now that wo have the new one and started using every thing better and easer myth larger and easer to clean with the hiden elements and flat to cooking thank you . Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Stove This a great stove. The top is easy to keep clean and the hidden element in the oven makes keeping the oven clean very easy. The digital controls are hard to push. I think that I would have preferred knobs, but overall this is a great stove. May 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Glass Stove Top I've had this stove for a few weeks and i did not have any buyer's remorse on why i settled for this. This is a beautiful unit, nice lines, clean look. the elements heat up very fast. THe oven works just as fast as the tope elements. May 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent range Love this range...when opening oven door, the light comes on automatic and oven is a bluish/purple which is cool. Great product. Love It!!! April 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great features would recommend this is an excellent choice. however bought 3 lg products and did not get rebate as told for purchasing 3 of the products. but the lg product stove is an excellent product April 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great addition to our kitchen We love the overall design: the easy to use digital controls (no more hard to clean knobs that easily fall off), the large well-lit blue interior, the fast-heating top burners (especially the dual burner),and the covered element (less burns and more room). We purchased this oven and a new LG refrigerator at Home Depot. The salesman was very informative and helpful on the highlights of both products, which was a key factor in our decision to purchase both items. March 22, 2014

Answer:
The buttons turn on the elements, and raise/lower the temperature setting. I find the buttons inconvenient, somewhat difficult to use, and aggravates the arthritic joints. The display is in numbers. I would look for a different model.

Answer:
Yes, you may certainly use cast iron cookware. However, please be cautious, as the bottoms can be rough and can scratch the cooktop surface if slid across it. Also, do not drop the cookware on the surface, as this can crack and/or otherwise damage the surface of the stove.

Answer:
You can't and if the rings fade off you can't do anything about that either and LG will not help you as they will state its not covered. They don't mention the 5 yr glass top warranty they are supposed to give either. They probably won't post this as they never post negative reviews

The manual mentions several times - DO NOT USE FOIL ON THE BOTTOM. The bottom heating element is under the bottom well. I would suggest you go back to where you bought it and find out if it can be fixed.

Answer:
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this electric range. According to page 5 of the owner’s manual, foil should not be used to line the oven walls, racks, bottom, or any other part of the oven. Doing so will disrupt proper heat distribution, producing poor baking results and causing permanent damage to the oven interior. It states that aluminum foil will melt to the interior surface of the oven. No part of the oven cavity can be replaced on this oven.
