What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy cleanup I bought this because my other oven was dying and I bake a lot. It cleans up wonderfully! I have baked it it quite a bit in the month and a half and almost everything has turned out great. Have to remember to adjust the shelves between baking and cooking.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unhappy customer This stove had to be repaired in less than 2 years of use. My LG refrigerator had to be replaced in less than 3 years of use. Never had I had this happen before with other brands. I am very disappointed with LG appliances.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Performance is good, but not the look after a year Had this stove top almost two years. Everything works great when it's new. A little after a year (after warranty expired), one of the glass range starting to "discoloring" from the inside. It turns from "dark red" to "oxidizing red". The touch panel coating starting to worn out. We are not a heavy user of the stove, just use it to cook dinner 3-4 times a week and boiling water. As far as the performance, everything it's still working as it should. Just the look of the stove is looking "worn-out".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this stove I like this stove. It is easy to use, easy to clean, looks great. It is fun to use when you set the temp, it sings to you when it reaches the baking temp. Also sings to you when your baking timer is completed. It's so nice to have a modern looking stove and a smooth easy to clean cook top is a plus. I also like that there are no nobs, just a smooth surface that you can wipe clean easily.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Convection oven has never worked! The repair man came and checked out the convection oven and had to order a control panel for it. He came on the 15th of January and has not called or been back. I am very disappointed that the convection oven didn't work, on a new stove and still doesn't. I tried to use the convection oven three different times and I had to change it to regular bake to get my stuff to cook. I like the other features, but not sure I would recommend this stove to any one else. My daughter had the same problem and her stove was replaced. It is a LRE3083ST01

May I use a 25 lb cast iron dutch oven on the cook surface?

I just bought one of these stoves and it will be delivered in about three weeks. I have a large cast iron dutch oven that weighs 25lbs that I like to cook with. Can the surface of the stove handle a 25-30 pound (when full) pot? Thank you for your help.
Asked by: Reneesarah
Be very careful when attempting to use cast iron pots, as they generally have a rough surface and can have metallic burrs on them. Scratches can occur if they are slid across the surface of the cooktop. Such damage to the cooktop surface would not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

How do I remove the bottom drawer from my oven

Asked by: rescue
Fully open the drawer. Remove the 2 screws from inside the drawer. Locate the glide lever on each side of the drawer. Push down on the left glide lever and pull up on the right glide lever. Pull the storage drawer away from the range. This information, and images, are located on page 33 of the owner’s manual.

Home canning

I enjoy home canning some of our fruit and vegetables. I just got this range and my friend told me that I can't do any canning with it. Is this true?
Asked by: BeccaRiley
You can water bath but don't use a heavy pressure cooker because stove top being made of glass could break.

It is very shallow. More for lids than anything. Very disappointed in the size of the drawer. Also not easy to open.

What are the color options for the interior of your stainless steel ovens?

Asked by: AlabamaBoy
I did not see a choice. The inside color is pretty bold and I don't even think there is a name for this color. It definitely would not be my choice but it is a very small thing to put up with.
