What People Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Ever This is the WORST dryer ever!! when it works, it works well enough, but in the 1 year I have had it, I have had to replace the high limit thermostat 4 times. After paying such an exorbitant price for this, I don't expect to be paying for parts every few weeks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed Have had the dryer for several months. Am disappointed with a few things. First, items are not always dried when the proper cycle is chosen. When you try to select it again to dry it will only run for a few seconds and shut off sensing the clothes are dry when they are not. I've even tried switching to another cycle and the machine stops just the same. So I end up with slightly wet items that i have to put outside or hang up to dry. The panel lights are really hard to read. The steam cycle does not take wrinkles out of clothes that you want to remove without having to iron like my old machine did. The lint trap is flimsy. Lastly the since the washer does not always get clothes etc smelling really fresh, when they are dried, there is now a constant odor after running the dryer like slightly soiled clothes. Mind you I'm an extra clean freak and wash clothes after wearing one time. So I''m not talking about stuff sitting around stinky for days or a week!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a steam dryer Finally got a new dryer and what a difference... Clothes smell much better and can dry anything because the capacity is huge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product but very expensive. This is a good clothes dryer but there should be no reason that any clothes dryer is as expensive as a washer which is much more complex. A dryer is a relatively simple machine and should not be priced the same as the washer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great capacity. Steam fresh leaves clothes damp. I wish drum light would stay on longer for loading/unloading and I wish the ENTIRE control panel would light up to make it easier to read. Have used steam fresh several times and clothes come out freshened but damp. Cycle fills up with steam but then drum stops periodically, then restarts. If it is suppose to help reduce wrinkles, why does drum stop periodically? Going to call tech support, but still moving in new home. Capacity is great.

what is the gas load for dryer dlgx8001v

Asked by: nortonjohn
Are you looking for 23,000 BTU?  A 3/8" line will supply that. Keep line as short as possible. These lines normally come in 3', or MAYBE 4' lengths.  Or are you looking for 4-10.5 inches WC for NG?  8-13" WC for propane.

Can you please compare the efficiently of the electric dryer with a propane gas one

I am looking at the 9.0. Steam model and have the option for gas or electric so want to compare the efficiency of the two. Thank you
Asked by: Lisa06831
IN GENERAL, and this may vary with your local costs, natural gas is cheapest, followed by propane and then electric. But again, your local rates drive this.

Does this machine come with the options to be coin operated?

I was told about these machine and was wondering if it would be able to be equipped to be put into a coin operated laundromat setting? If not, does LG make a coin operated machine to be put in such application?
Asked by: hometowncoin
Intended for home use. You should consider something like Speed Queen for commercial use.  Warranty only mentions home use.
