Answer:
We appreciate your interest in the optimum operations of this projector. According to the recommended specifications, the maximum recommended distance would be 9.86 feet. This is the converted distance of the 3,004 mm listed in the owner’s manual on page 16. If you have additional questions about this matter, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

While it is possible to display video content wirelessly, by way of a DLNA File Share server, this projector does not have any compatibility for Home Theater Systems or speaker systems. Answer:
You might want to try connecting a 3.5mm stereo jack (male) to rca (male) cable to your projector's headphone out and to an amplified speaker with female rca input jack. It works for me wonderfully!

I apologize, but no; the connections available on this video projector are all INPUT connections, except for the headphone jack, located next to the ANTENNA IN port.

I'm in the market for a projector. Some LGs LED projectors look good, but the brightness on your models seem very low (300-500). I'm looking at others that are 2,000 Lumens. My last one was 1,500 and I want more brightness.
Thank you.

Answer:
ANSI lumens
The light output of projectors (including video projectors) is typically measured in lumens. A standardized procedure for testing projectors has been established by the American National Standards Institute, which involves averaging together several measurements taken at different positions. For marketing purposes, the luminous flux of projectors that have been tested according to this procedure may be quoted in "ANSI lumens", to distinguish them from those tested by other methods.

Peak lumens:
Peak lumens is a measure of light output normally used with CRT video projectors. The testing uses a test pattern typically at either 10 and 20 percent of the image area as white at the center of the screen, the rest as black. The light output is measured just in this center area. Limitations with CRT video projectors result in them producing greater brightness when just a fraction of the image content is at peak brightness. For example video projector produces 1200 "peak" lumens but just 200 ANSI lumens.

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this DLP Projector. When projecting to a 100” screen, it is recommended to set this unit back 9.85 feet from the screen. This should be the same as the HW300T.
