What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great exterior look and interior design We bought this unit about a month ago, we havent had any real issue as of now. I would like to say the sometimes the interior plastic door for the easy access compartment pops open and if someone would open the door it would get caught on the other door basically damaging the unit. Also the shelving heights should be more suiting today's bottles soft drinks wine etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far has been good. We've had this refrigerator for just over a month, now. It cooled down quickly and has held temperature very well. Be careful what you store in the door in the door area. It runs a little warm. We had to set the refrigerator on 35 to keep the door in the door temperature at 40. This refrigerator is a little more noisy than the last LG we had, but is not the loudest refrigerator we've ever owned. Overall, we're pretty satisfied with this unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Going on two months of ownership and this is truly a great product. The motor is so quite I can hardly hear it running. The capability is just outstanding. The best feature is the door in door. The grand children just love this feature. Our previous refrigerator was an LG and we were very happy with it. When it was time to upgrade I still researched all refrigerators and again ended up with another LG. Kenmore is made by LG so be sure to compare both when shopping for a refrigerator but be really to save a little coin if you go with an LG.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great capacity and features. Like the separate compartments in freezer. Like the quick grab door in fridge. Actually like having alarm for when door is left open. Also like having ice maker in door. Saves room in freezer .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Refrigerator I have Ever Had! I looked and looked at many refrigerators before I bought this model and I am so glad I chose this specific model. It has so much room, and because of its size, the drawers are huge. My fruits and vegetables stay fresh and crisp with the dual cooling system. I opted for the model with only one huge freezer drawer instead of one large and one small drawer and I m so pleased I did. The one large drawer has a very large bin with 2 separate pull out drawers within. Food is easy to find so I do not have to dig through frozen items to find what I need. It had to be a woman who designed this model of refrigerator.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but... We have had our LG for over a year now and I guess I'm mostly satisfied except for two things. There are not enough places to put tall containers. I can keep a gallon of milk in the door and another on the right hand side of the middle shelf, but there is never enough room for the bottles of juice, soda, and wine. My other gripe is that the "smart" features of this fridge are absolutely useless. The iPhone app has never worked and I suspect it never will. All the wifi connection ever did was waste my time trying to get it all to work.

What is the proper setting for temp on the refrigerator and freezer?

It is recommended that, when the unit is first installed, the freezer temperature should be set to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, while the refrigerator should be set to 37 degrees. Once the unit reaches these temperatures, you may change the setting to however you would prefer.

I recently purchased this refrigerator and first time a french door with ice dispenser model. Our family of 3 uses less Ice and since its winter time now we hardly use the ice. Should we turn-off the ice-maker during the winter ? What should we do?

Asked by: DaveMike11
We appreciate your interest in this refrigerator and its features. If you wish to keep any ice, then it is recommended to leave the ice maker active, as deactivating it will lead to the ice room temperature regulating to that of the refrigerator compartment, and in effect, melting any ice in the bin.
