What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Andoidwear 2.0 Been pretty pleased with this watch and can't wait for the much anticipated upgrade from Google.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recent Calls The watch is awsome, and I like all of the functions but I think LG should have a way to manage recent calls on this watch. There are duplicate calls which is one thing I dont understand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Watch Band I have had my LG cell and watch for a few months. While I love my cell I recently had an issue with the watch. The watch band became detached. AT&T (my service and where I purchase) can't help. I do not abuse the watch and if I have it for the next few years why would in such a short time a problem arises? I rated this as poor not because of the watch but for the lack of resolution to fix the problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I had problems with receiving and making calls, then after trouble shooting the cause,I realized all I needed to do was just forward my calls to the watch instead of using Bluetooth and wifi(because your not always in wifi outside your home) and now using "CALL FORWARDING "It now works grrrrrrrreat! I can leave my phone in Timbuktu if I want to(with call forwarding activated) and not miss a call, text or any message! My calls are as clear as can be expected on this LTE version!! Don't get me wrong, I really wanted the Samsung S3! But they kept playing with my emotions on releasing it and have yet to even give a release date! So I lucked up and found this bad boy on YouTube! The screen is even bigger @ 1.38 then the S3's 1.3!!. it doesn't have the rotating bezel(all touch screen, but still an awesome LTE watch!!! I like my watch a lot! It looks good! It sounds good! It's bigger and has the same rubberized band as the upcoming S3'S!! Check it out on YouTube!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty good watch , LG calling software is basic I have the watch for ~ 2 months and it has been a pretty good experience. The only problem is with LG calling software which is very basic. For example you cannot call someone from the watch unless you have been calling them from the phone in advance. They are added to the watch agenda as you get in touch with them. Also there is no dialing option for just writing the phone number . Otherwise phone calls are ok on the watch speaker. The watch band is too stiff and leaves marks on your hand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I bought LG Urbane 2nd Edition since April 2016. Yes, you can make calls and receive calls but you have to touching one screen after another. When I'm driving, I can't do that. I tried to make calls by speaking to Ok Google, but it didn't work for me when the watch is not next to the phone. It will work only when the phone is connected to the watch, but that defeats the purpose of having an LTE watch!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waistband Uncomfortable and no selection to replace Factory band. You spend that much money and can't spend any more on a better band. The rubber band is a bad thing if you out on a hot day Rub's your wrist Raw. Never had a blister on my wrist until now.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Functionality, poor design and execution. As an Android Wear watch, the screen is beautiful, the higher res is definately nicer versus the 320x320 of the G Watch R I had previously. The bigger battery is evident when I go to bed and it's still at 50-60% charge. I wasn't sure I'd like the bigger size, i'm not a fan of the clunky watches, but it's very attractive and well done, I got used to it very quickly. But that's where the love ends. First, the standalone model is not even available for sale, so I had to go to an AT&T store and purchase the watch with a data plan that I had no intention of using, just to get the Urbane2. Second, The stiff rubber band is annoying to deal with. The watch can only lay down in one position on your night stand because of this, and it's stiff to put on and remove at the end of the day. Having a hinge on the band would have helped. Third, The charger, who actually Q&A'd this thing, it's the stupidest, worst implemented idea I've ever seen on a mobile device. The magnet attracts it to the watch but 9 times out of 10 the connectors don't touch, so I have to fiddle with it every time to make it start charging. My G Watch R, set it in the cradle, you had charge. More than once I've woken up and tried to put my Urbane2 on, and it died because it didn't charge during the night. Of course you can't buy extra cables from LG or AT&T so you can't charge it at work w/o bringing your one and only cable with you, which will risk wear and tear. Boo. Fourth, I have to agree with everyone else, make the buttons assignable. Because of what they do now, I never use them, so it's a complete waste of functionality for me. Fifth, you can play ringtones and sounds on the watch, but you can't play MP3s out of the speaker, only via bluetooth headset. I would have liked that just to have the availability in a pinch if I needed music (sleep with watch near my head). Sixth, there appears to be something odd about either the touchscreen, or the execution of the software. When I swipe left to right to go back a menu or to dismiss something, the screen will move about 50% of the way and then bounce back to where it was. If you're used to doing the flick like on the GWatchR, this will fail every time on the Urbane2, you have to wipe it completely across the screen to get it to dismiss or go back. This watch had so much promise, but design and usability really detract from the overall love and value. The software is great, the resolution is great, AndroidWear is great, this physical watch, not so much.

Has anyone that actually owns the watch tried to use the Urbane cradle? I fear the fixed band may not allow it to make contact. Have you seen any rumors of a cradle for it?
