Our eyes are spaced apart from one another, so each eye sees the world from a slightly different perspective. Our brains merge these two views into a single image, with the depth we take for granted. It's a phenomenon called stereopsis. Your LG 3D TV recreates this same effect, displaying two separate images of the same scene at once, one intended for your right eye and one for your left. Before you put on your 3D glasses, everything looks fuzzy and out of sync. But when you put on your LG 3D glasses, your brain combines the separate images to bring you the illusion of three-dimensional depth.

LG Cinema 3D TVs detect when you're viewing native 3D content, such as from a Blu-ray 3D disc, streaming content from Vudu or LG's 3D World. To adjust your viewing preferences, click the "MY APPS" button on the Magic Remote, point and click on the "Options" button and "3D Settings" on screen. In the Manual option, you can adjust the 3D Depth, 3D Viewpoint, 3D Image Correction and Sound Zoom to your individual tastes.

LG 3D TVs can convert 2D content to 3D whenever you want. When you're viewing a TV show, a movie or even a videogame in traditional 2D format, just press the 3D button on the Magic Remote and put on your 3D glasses. To fine-tune your enhanced 2D-to-3D viewing, press the "MY APPS" button to bring up the 3D Settings. Choose Sports, Cinema, Standard or Extreme to automatically set the optimum 3D depth of near and far objects. If you select Manual, you'll have the option of specifically controlling 3D Depth as well as 3D Viewpoint.
