Motion Clarity Index 240

Motion Clarity Index 240

LG’s Motion Clarity Index (MCI) measures more than just the refresh rate to truly understand the ability to deliver clear, crisp images. MCI factors in refresh rate, our Triple XD Engine and backlight technology to better measure how well our TVs can display fast moving images like action movies, video games or sports.

I am considering the 50LN5400 LED TV, and am wondering about the sound. It will be placed diagonally in the corner, and with the speakers in the rear of the set, I am concerned about an echo or revert effect. Should I also consider a soundbar for this TV? Recommendations?
Asked by: Ellen1961
Turn the TV speakers off and you only have the sound bar ..The one problem it the bass speaker is under neath the sound bar the TV sit on the sound bar when the bass is playing it vibrates the TV stand it is annoying but you can turn the bass down to stop it. Maybe if I foam pad the under neath my stand it will stop the vibrations

Why is there no program information displayed?

I purchased this 60LN5400 to replace an older and smaller LCD Samsung. The Samsung displayed program information and the EPG on all ATSG channels. This LG does not show any program info and the reception doesn't seem to be as good as the Samsung either. They were both connected to the same coax exactly the same way. The picture is excellent and I am pleased with the television overall. Please tell me how to get the program information displayed on my LG television. Thank you, Harrel Lamkin
Asked by: MrHorsepower
Hi Mr. Lamkin. Thank you for your inquiry. Not sure how much older your previous TV was, but much has changed since the advent of Smart TVs and Cable Set Top boxes got more interactive and sophisticated. It used to be that some TVs came with Electronic Program Guides built into them, but nowadays, you will not find those on TVs like the LG 60" Class (59.5" Diagonal) 1080p LED TV, Model # 60LN5400. Electronic Program Guides are a feature that is now found on Smart TVs or from your Cable Set Top Box. If you're using an external antenna, you would have to get one that has that as a upgrade feature...^IFV
