Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deepest Blacks Ever This was a the best birthday gift anyone gave me. The blacks are so deep you can swim it, even streaming 4k looks just as good as having physical copies. Being that its supports true HDR and Dolby Vision you are saved from the headache of not being able to play particular formats. It supports 3D granted may not use it all the time but having a premium television it should play whatever is thrown at it. In which is does flawlessly, if you want the cinematic experience with outleaving home this OLED is the way to go. Having a built in soundbar gives it more bang for your buck. I LOVE THIS TELEVISION

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Picture with Fantastic Colors! I had this TV for three weeks now and i love it. The picture is sharp and the colors are amazing. The navigation is new to me but easy to pickup. This set looks beautiful even when it is off. The sound is good but I add a sound bar with a bass speaker. The first few days it had a couple of glitches such as flashing on and off three times before it remained on. The other glitch seems to be the remote not functioning but I think the batteries were not making good contact. The Tv and remote have worked flawlessly since.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding TV I purchased this TV after having owned the 55” version for the past year. When properly set up, the picture quality and color rendition are the best I’ve seen. Picture adjustments are plentiful and very useful. Also, for those of you with 3D movie collections, this TV achieves the best 3D viewing experience I’ve seen. Thank you, LG, for your continuing research in advancing TV technology.

Please allow Atoms passthrough on this 2016 model. I am shocked to find out the Atmos does not pass through to supported sound system when watching Netflix.

Asked by: Atoms Support Requester
First of all Netflix does not support Dolby Atmos or DTS:X at this time. I believe VUDU and possibly HULU do but only over certain devices like xbox one, so even a $2,000 high end AVR will do you any good. I'm not sure why this is but you can research this and confirm it's veracity. Second of all, ARC itself does not support these codecs. Until HDMI 2.1 hardware and it's eARC feature, you will not be able to pass Atmos from your TV to your receiver. eARC Although there are some limitations with ARC, as part of HDMI ver2.1 (which was announced in January 2017), eARC (Enhanced ARC) was introduced which ups ARC capability by accommodating the transfer of immersive audio formats, such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, as well as audio from Smart TV streaming apps. In other words, on TVs that include eARC, you can connect all of your audio and video sources to a compatible TV and the audio from those sources can be transferred from the TV to the home theater receiver via a single cable connection. You should see eARC capability in TVs and home theater receivers beginning in 2018. Unfortunately, TV makers don't always publicize what audio formats are necessarily supported on each specific TV, and not all details are outlined in the user manual. However, since the introduction of the original Audio Return Channel feature in 2009, all TVs and Theater Receivers now incorporate ARC, but activation steps may vary for different brands/models - check your user guide for details.

Asked by: Robert Bobby
The picture quality on the LG E6 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 55" Class (54.6" Diag), Model # OLED55E6P and all the other LG OLEDS, regardless of which letter designation they have in their model numbers will be the same. The letters indicate a difference in design and in the specifications of the TVs which you can use the "Add to Compare" feature on our site to review. All our OLED TVs, regardless of letter designation have Wi-Fi® Built-In which uses the Wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac) standard.
