Interestingly, this initiative is the first of its kind in the country by any brand in the country which is also a way of creating jobs for youths who will operate the facility, thereby reducing unemployment rate in the community. While meeting a need, it is also adding some economic value to the community. The facility with several LG Washing machines, LG Air Conditioning units, uninterrupted power supply, constant supply of water among others is to ensure that the facility operates seamlessly.

LG Electronics has vigorously pursued its CSR initiatives with all sense of responsibility and commitment, placing it at the forefront of giving back to the society. In the educational and health sectors of the economy the brand has contributed immensely by touching lives and institutions which is its CSR core thrust which should tilt toward human centric. LG has made several donations towards improving health institutions in Port Harcourt, Abuja, Kano and Ibadan all in a bid to give a face-lift to the health sector in the country.

By all standards this is a stunning project and a worthy one at that, which deserves some approbation from all. This act of generosity by the Electronics giant is a laudable one, touching lives in an uncommon way.
