[LG Bluetooth Earbuds] How to Check the Charging Case Battery and Charging Status

Troubleshooting

The battery status indicator on the charging case shows the remaining battery level and device status. Green means the battery level is high or charging is complete. Yellow indicates a medium battery level. Red means the battery is low, or charging is in progress.
To check the exact battery percentage, install the LG XBOOM or LG TONE Free app on your smartphone.
If the light blinks blue, the earbuds are in Bluetooth pairing mode. If the red light keeps blinking, disconnect the charging cable, close the case, and then open it again.

When does the battery status indicator turn on?

The battery status indicator turns on and changes based on user actions and the current status of the earbuds and charging case.

  • When opening the case: If earbuds are inside, the light displays the earbuds' battery level. If the case is empty, it displays the case's battery level.
  • When closing the case: The light displays the remaining battery level of the charging case itself.
  • When connected to a charger: The light shows the real-time charging progress.
  • When entering pairing mode: The light alerts you when the earbuds are trying to connect to a new device.
