[LG Refrigerator] Troubleshooting Water Leaks

Troubleshooting

Let's find out more.

If there are no signs of water leakage under the vegetable crisper inside the refrigerator compartment, check the surrounding area and floor for any leaks.

Try this.

Did water leak from inside the refrigerator onto the floor?

➔ Store food in airtight containers and make sure the door is closed tightly.

If a container inside the refrigerator is slightly open, the contents may have spilled out.
Also, condensation can form if hot food is placed directly inside the refrigerator.
Water can also collect if the refrigerator door is not completely closed, especially during summer.
Cool food down before storing it in airtight containers, and double-check that the door is fully closed.

Could water have leaked from around the refrigerator and flowed onto the floor?

➔ Check the area around the refrigerator.

If the hose of a water purifier installed near the refrigerator is incorrectly installed, it may appear as if water is leaking from the bottom of the refrigerator.
Also, water from the sink drain or boiler could flow toward the refrigerator.
If there is a leak around the refrigerator or on the floor, and not inside the refrigerator, check the area under the sink, the water purifier hose connections, and other surrounding areas.
