What is the Fresh Air Filter?

The Fresh Air filter serves two functions: sterilization and deodorization. Its lifespan typically ranges from one to two years, depending on the usage environment.

Sterilization: Elimination of viruses and bacteria inside the refrigerator.
Deodorization: Eliminatation of odors.

When the [Replace Filter] light turns on, replace the Fresh Air filter to maintain its performance.

How to Replace the Fresh Air Filter
1. First, press the Fresh Air Filter (Sterilization/Deodorization) button on the control panel to turn it OFF.
2. Hold the filter cover, turn it counterclockwise, and pull it out of the refrigerator.
3. Remove the Fresh Air filter from inside the filter cover.
4. Insert the new Fresh Air filter into the cover, ensuring the protrusions around the filter are visible. (It will not fit if inserted upside down.)
5. Align the filter cover with its slot inside the refrigerator and turn it clockwise about 30 degrees to lock it in place.
6. Press and hold the Fresh Air Filter (Sterilization/Deodorization) button for at least 5 seconds to turn off the Replace Filter light.
To use the Fresh Air filter, press the Fresh Air Filter button and switch to AUTO or POWER mode.
Each time you press the button, the filter function changes from OFF → AUTO → POWER → OFF.
