My washing machine is frozen and it’s not working.(IE,OE)

Troubleshooting

Are you getting [FF] (Freeze Failure), [OE] (Water Outlet Error) or [IE] (Water Inlet Error) error code and the washing machine has stopped working?

Shall we take a closer look?
When cold weather continues it can cause water remaining inside the supply or drain hose to freeze.
[OE] error means drain hose is frozen and [IE] error means supply hose or the faucet is frozen. In this case you need to melt down the ice inside the washing machine.
※ Frozen washing machine due to cold weather will thaw by itself when temperature goes up. If possible, we recommend you to use the washing machine when the cold/winter season is over.

      Try this
Use warm water to thaw frozen tub and drain hose.
→ Melt down the ice inside the tub and drain hose and check if the washing machine is working.

How to thaw frozen tub and drain hose.
① Open the lid and take out the laundry. If there is water remaining inside the tub, remove the water out with buckets.

② Pour warm water that is between 50~60°C, close the lid and wait for 1~2 hours.

[OE] error may occur if the drain hose is frozen. Wrap the hose with warm towel to thaw

.
③ Turn on the washing machine and drain the water out.

If it does not drain, it means the ice is not completely melt. Wait for some more time and drain the unit again.

④ Turn on the unit and run [Rinse] cycle once to check if the unit is working.

⑤ If [IE] error occurs and the unit does not fill with water, read and follow below instructions on [How to thaw frozen faucet and supply hose].
