[LG Monitor] I want to learn how to set the SMART ENERGY SAVING function

Repair

Smart Energy Saving (SES) Feature
The  Smart Energy Saving (SES)  function is designed to reduce the power consumption of your monitor.
How It Works:
Instead of simply lowering the screen brightness, the SES function uses a contrast enhancement algorithm to optimize image quality while consuming less electricity. The video quality remains similar.
Meaning of "High" and "Low":
"Low" and "High" refer to the  level of power reduction  applied to the monitor. "High" offers the maximum energy savings (up to 25%), while "Low" provides moderate savings (up to 15%) with minimal impact on screen appearance.
Energy Efficiency:
  • SES Low: 5 to 15% saving compared to Off mode.
  • SES High: 15 to 25% saving compared to Off mode.

How to Enable the SES Function
Note: Steps may vary depending on your monitor model. Consult your user manual for precise instructions.
For general monitors, here is the standard method:
  1. Press the  Joystick button (usually located under the screen).
  2. Move the joystick to the right to access  [Settings].
Press the joystick button and explain the entry into settings

③ In [General], select [SMART ENERGY SAVING] and select [High], [Low] or [Off] depending on the situation.

In [General], select [SMART ENERGY SAVING] and select [High], [Low] or [Off] depending on the situation.
