Is the wind sound from the stand or wall mounted air conditioner louder than usual?

When the wind passes through the dense filter and the cooler inside the air conditioner, noises can be normally generated.
If the wind sound is louder than usual, then check if the rear of the stand type air conditioner is blocked with obstacles or there is dust in the filter.
When you set the wind strength to [Strong[, the wind sound can be loud.

Is the rear of the stand blocked by curtains?

➔ Remove curtains that block the wind suction pipe at the rear of the stand.

In case of stand type product, as it is mainly installed on the wall, very often, its rear side is blocked by curtains.
As shown here, if the curtain blocks the suction pipe of the rear, it cannot suck in winds sufficiently and the fan speed will be reduced and noises will be generated.
As shown in the following figure, make sure that the curtain does not come in direct contact with the rear of the product.

Is the protective vinyl is attached?

➔ If the protective vinyl is still attached to the air conditioner, remove it.

When the air conditioner is delivered, it is packaged using Styrofoam and vinyl in order to protect the product.
Using the air conditioner without completely removing the protective vinyl may cause a noise such as vinyl flapping in the blown air.
Check if the protective vinyl remains on the air conditioner, and if so, completely remove it.

Has it been more than a month since the last cleaning?

➔ Clean the ultra fine filter.

If there are dusts in the filter, it cannot suck in or discharge the air properly, thus degrading the cooling performance.
In addition, due to loud noises or excessive operation of the air conditioner, more electricity will be used.
If it’s been more than a month since you cleaned the ultra-fine filter, turn off the air conditioner and clean the filter.
Depending on the product, the location and removal method of the ultra fine filer may vary.
By referring to the user manual, separate the ultra fine filter and use a vacuum cleaner to suck in dusts or use a soft brush to wipe off dusts.
