How to Connect Bluetooth Devices to Your LG TV

Troubleshooting

To use Bluetooth headphones or speakers with your LG TV, change the sound output to Bluetooth in the TV settings menu.
Turn on your Bluetooth device and make sure it is in pairing mode. Then, select your device from the list on the TV to listen wirelessly.

Why is my Bluetooth device not connecting to the TV?

1. Bluetooth Device Already Connected or Not in Pairing Mode

Your Bluetooth device may already be connected to another device (such as a smartphone), or it might not be in pairing mode.

2. Incorrect TV Sound Output Settings

The TV's sound output may be set to the internal TV speakers or another external device instead of Bluetooth.

3. Wireless Interference or a Temporary TV System Issue

Nearby wireless devices could be causing signal interference, or a temporary TV issue might prevent the device from appearing in the list.

4. TV Hardware Issues

There may be an issue with the TV's Bluetooth hardware.
