Using input terminals such as HDMI, Display Port and USB-C, you can output the voice through the monitor’s built-in speaker or headphone port.
The type of input terminal and the mounting of speaker depend on the model. Check the product manual or homepage for further information.
If no voice from the PC where Windows is installed, then check the following.
Try this
Does the monitor have a built-in speaker?
→ See the user manual for the monitor or go to the homepage to check if the model has a built-in speaker.
※ If the monitor has no built-in speaker, then there will be no sound.
If it has a built-in speaker, first check the monitor sound setting.
By moving the Joystick button below the monitor to the left or right, you can adjust the monitor sound volume.
Did you check the HDMI or DP cable condition?
→ Check if the HDMI or DP cable is not correctly connected to the monitor or PC, and check if the cable port or cable itself is damaged.
If the cable condition has a problem then connect another cable to see if you hear the sound.
Even when the cable is not damaged if there is no sound, then replace the cable and compare the results.
After the above remedies, there is still no sound?
→ Check if the sound setting of Windows is ok.
Does the built-in speaker of the PC or external speaker(earphone) output the sound properly?
→ If the built-in speaker or earphone does not output the sound, then it is probably a problem with the PC sound driver rather than the monitor problem.
Delete the sound driver and install it again. (See the homepage of the PC maker.)
