[LG OLED TV] The screen change is delayed when switching channels on the set-top box

Troubleshooting
  • The set-top box has a preset delay time when switching channels. This differs slightly depending on the service provider that provides the set-top box.
However, it may also take a long time for the screen to change when switching the channels as a result of a set-top box error or communication problem.
In such a case, initializing the set-top box may solve the problem.
  • If the symptom persists after initializing the set-top box, contact the service provider that you are using.

Try this

How to initialize a set-top box

1. Turn off your TV using the remote control.

2. Turn off the power switch on the back of the set-top box, wait for 5 seconds, and turn it on again.

3. For models with no power switch, remove the power cable, wait for 5 seconds, and reconnect it.
