[LG TV] The TV startup/shutdown signal sounds are too loud

Troubleshooting

The startup/shutdown signal sounds are produced based on the TV volume settings. If your TV volume is set high, the startup/shutdown signal sounds may sound loud.
There is a function to disable the startup/shutdown signal sounds. You can turn them off by setting [LG Power On/Off Sound] to Off.

➔ Reducing the TV volume decreases the volume of the startup/shutdown signal sounds.

If you have a set-top box connected to your TV and use it to adjust the overall volume while the TV volume is set high, the TV startup/shutdown signal sounds may be loud.
To achieve a moderate level of volume for the startup/shutdown signal sounds, it is recommended to maximize the volume of the set-top box and use the TV volume to adjust the overall volume.
There is a function to disable the signal sounds that are produced during TV startup or shutdown.

Press the setting button on your TV remote, select [All Settings] → [General] → [Additional Settings], and set [TV Power On/Off Sound] to On or Off.
Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on your TV remote.
