[LG Beam Projector Remote Control] My remote control does not respond.

Troubleshooting

The remote control may not function properly in areas where electric ballasts or three-wavelength lamps are installed.

Causes and Symptoms

  • The remote control does not work properly.

Try this

① To ensure normal operation of the remote control, replace the electric ballast-applied lamps and three-wavelength lamps with global standard products.

② Replace the batteries in the remote control with new ones. (Newly purchased products may also contain defective batteries.)

Warning!
  • Avoid mixing new and old batteries.
Otherwise, it can lead to a fire or electric shock due to electromagnetic wave heat or battery fluid leakage.
  • Only use batteries specified for the remote control.

For LED projectors
  • The remote control works within a range of 6 m (19.69 ft) and at up to a 30-degree angle, both to the left and right, from the remote signal receiver.
  • If a cable is connected to the rear port of the remote signal receiver, the remote control works smoothly within a range of 3 m (9.84 ft) and at up to a 30-degree angle, both to the left and right, from the receiver.
  • To ensure smooth operation of the remote control, avoid blocking the IR port (on the remote signal receiver).
  • When carrying the remote control in a bag, make sure that the buttons on the remote control are not pressed unintentionally by other items such as the projector body, cables, or documents.
Otherwise, the batteries in the remote control may be discharged drastically.
