How to check your TV's webOS version
Press the [Settings] (gear icon) or [Mute] button on your remote three times in a row to view your TV's system information.
Step 1. Choose Your Power-On Screen
- Follow the menu path for your TV model year and webOS version. Then select the Home screen or the most recent external input as the power-on screen.
- 2026 and later TVs (webOS 26 and later): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select [All Settings], [System], [Additional Settings], [Home Settings], and select [Power On Screen].
- 2023–2025 TVs (webOS 23–25): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select [All Settings], [General], [System], [Additional Settings], [Home Settings], and select [Power On Screen].
- 2021–2022 TVs (webOS 6.0–22): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select [All Settings], [General], [System], [Additional Settings], [Home Settings], and select [Home Auto Launch].
- 2020 TVs (webOS 5.0): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select [All Settings], [General], [Home Settings], and select [Home Auto Launch].
- 2019 TVs (webOS 4.5): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select [All Settings], [General], [Additional Settings], [Home Settings], and select [Home Auto Launch].
Step 2. Turn On Quick Start+
- Turn on [Quick Start+] using the menu path for your TV model year and webOS version.
- 2026 and later TVs (webOS 26 and later): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select [All Settings], [System], [Additional Settings], and select [Quick Start+].
- 2023–2025 TVs (webOS 23–25): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select [All Settings], [General], [System], [Additional Settings], and select [Quick Start+].
- 2021–2022 TVs (webOS 6.0–22): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select [All Settings], [General], [Devices], [TV Management], and select [Quick Start+].
- 2019–2020 TVs (webOS 4.5–5.0): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select [All Settings], [General], [Additional Settings], and select [Q Start+].
- 2018 and earlier TVs (webOS 4.0 and earlier): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select [All Settings], [General], and select [Q Start+].
