[LG refrigerator installation] Precautions regarding fire prevention in old refrigerators/kimchi refrigerators.

Troubleshooting

Please note the following to prevent fire damage to old home appliances. It is recommended that products that have been used for more than 10 years undergo regular safety inspections.

For product repair and installation location transfer, please contact an LG Electronics' service technician. Any disassembly, repair, or modification of the product may cause electric shock, injury, or fire.

Install the product in an area of low humidity and good ventilation.

➔ Do not install the product in a damp area and keep it away from splashing rain or water.

Moisture damage to the product (dielectric breakdown) may cause electric shock or fire.

How to open a window

➔ Do not install it in a location with a lot of dust or extreme temperature changes (outdoors, vinyl greenhouses, etc.).

Install the product in a location where there is an ambient temperature of over 5℃ and less than 43℃.

Installed in an environment between 5 degrees and 43 degrees

Do not forcefully bend disconnect the power cable or put it under heavy objects as this may cause damage.

➔ If the power cable is damaged, it may cause electric shock or fire.

Be sure that the power plug is plugged all the way into the terminal and has a dedicated grounded outlet.

➔ If multiple products are used while connected to a single outlet at the same time, electric shock or abnormal heat from the multi-outlet may cause fire or the circuit breaker may trip and turn the power off.

Invalid example: connected to multi-tab. Correct example: wall-to-wall, single-ground outlet.

If the power cable or power plug is damaged, or the holes in the outlet socket are loose, do not use the power plug and contact the LG Electronics service center.

➔ Poor contact may cause electric shock or fire.
