Causes and Symptom

• A humming noise is heard during water supply.

When water is supplied through the water supply hose to the washing machine, the valve operates, creating a “humming” operation noise.

A “humming~” noise heard from the water supply hose of the washing machine during water supply is a natural sound that occurs when the valve operates.
This sound is created when the water supply hose is opened electrically and water enters.
If the water pressure is low, the amount of water supplied is reduced so that the noise may be louder.

A clicking noise is heard during water supply.

When the water supply valve operates, a clicking noise is heard when the valve closes.

How to clean the water supply filter

① Turn off the faucet and disconnect the power cord.

② Separate the water supply hose connected to the washing machine by turning it counterclockwise, and separate the filter from inside the hose by hand or using a suitable tool.

③ Clean the water supply filter with a cleaning brush (toothbrush) under running water to remove foreign objects such as water stains or rust.

④ In accordance with the positions provided at the rear of the product, connect the blue filter to the cold water outlet and the orange filter to the hot water outlet.

⑤ After connecting the water supply hoses to the cold water and hot water outlets, turn on the faucets.
