The inside of a washing machine is prone to moisture and slime.
If you keep the door of the washing machine closed, the moisture from washing is unable to dry, and mold may form inside the door gasket.
Try this
Do you usually keep the door and the detergent dispenser of the washing machine closed?
➔ Make sure to empty the tub and open the washing machine door and the detergent dispenser in order to let any moisture evaporate.
After the washing machine stops, ventilate the tub and the detergent dispenser.
Take caution to let any remaining moisture dry, especially in summer when the temperature is high and the air is humid.
Take caution not to let children get into the tub to play.
Regular maintenance of the door gasket allows you to use it for a very long time in a clean condition.
Dilute 5g of oxygen bleach in 5L of warm water. Put on rubber gloves, and clean the door gasket thoroughly with the diluted bleach (1000-fold dilution).
Clean the door gasket at least once a month.
Even if the machine is still under warranty, a gasket cleaning service fee will be charged, as it is not a visit or service by a service technician due to a fault with the product.
